Why Breathwork?
In today’s fast-paced world, we often find ourselves caught in a whirlwind of thoughts, emotions, and expectations, leaving us feeling disconnected and overwhelmed. As a somatic breathwork practitioner, I believe in the profound connection between body and breath, recognizing that our breath serves as a bridge to our inner wisdom. Breathwork offers a sanctuary—a safe space to pause, breathe, and return to our essence. Each inhale brings in fresh possibilities, while each exhale releases what no longer serves us. This practice empowers you to tap into the healing potential that lies within, unlocking layers of emotion and experience that may have long been held captive.

Somatic Breathwork™
Your nervous system is the electrical network of your being. Over time, unresolved trauma or chronic stress causes dysregulation of this network. When dysregulated, difficulties in your personal or professional life may arise. When you heal trauma and stress, you heal the electrical network of your nervous system. When you heal the nervous system, you heal the emotional self so your authentic self can emerge.
SomatIQ™ breathwork is an embodiment experience. It takes you out of your thinking mind and into your body’s electrical network. The method facilitates your release of unneeded energy within this network, which may be caused by repeating thoughts, feelings, and old narratives, by discharging the unneeded energy out through your body.
SomatIQ™ employs circular connected breathing coupled with rhythmic music intended to produce a cathartic emotional release. This release may be in the form of moving, shaking, yelling, crying, or laughing (among others). Using the breath, you may engage your innate ability to heal and sweep out defenses, blockages, restrictions, or pains that hold you back from who you are and how you want to show up in this world.

Regulation is not about maintaining a state of calm but being able to maintain a state of choice.
Most people have a hard time turning it on or turning it off and get stuck easily in one of those states with little ability to change it.
